Divine Tragedy

Sarah Jamison is a fine artist based in Washington, DC, who received her BFA from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in 2010. Her work has garnered significant institutional recognition, including a feature on the Smithsonian's Folklife website in 2017. In 2018, she was named Washington City Paper's Best Visual Artist. Jamison has participated in notable projects, such as serving as a mural artist for Rirkrit Tiravanija's installation at the Hirshhorn Museum in 2019 and contributing to the DC Walls International Mural Festival in 2021. Her recent exhibitions include *Divine Tragedy* at Grizzly Grizzly in Philadelphia and *Psychadelicatessen* at Gallery Ergo in Seattle.

Jake Lahah is an artist, educator, and designer based in Richmond, VA, originally from Wildwood, NJ. His work interrogates themes of labor, queerness, human ecology, and their intersections, exploring how visual culture and data reflect the human condition through various mediums, including installation, print media, and craft-making methodologies. With a formal background in printmaking, Lahah identifies as an anti/inter/transdisciplinary artist, engaging in project-based practices that address queer histories, labor, politics, ecosystems, and public narratives. Lahah holds a BFA from George Mason University and an MFA in Print from Tyler School of Art + Architecture at Temple University. He has received recognition for his work, including a Gay Cultural Studies Creative Research Grant, and has exhibited in notable venues such as Bond Millen Gallery, ADA Gallery, and Temple Contemporary. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Old Dominion University, where he continues to explore the connections between art and social issues.

Born in coastal New Jersey, Victoria Shaheen is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the search for the modern utopia, industrial manufacturing processes, and the value systems found within material culture. She received her BFA from the Corcoran College of Art + Design and her MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. Shaheen has attended numerous residencies in the U.S. and abroad, including the Incubator Residency at Talking Dolls Studio in Detroit and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Canada. Her work has been exhibited at various galleries, including Wasserman Projects in Detroit and the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. Currently, she holds a faculty position at Greenwich House Pottery in New York City, where she also manages the Fabrication Department. Shaheen lives and works in NYC.
